The Barnyard Margarita

An OG with a twist! Margaritas won’t be the same after you taste the delicate infusion of maple and apple of our barnyard classic.

  • 1 1/2oz gold tequila

  • 1oz Grand Marnier liqueur

  • 2oz honeycrisp syrup

    • 2 honeycrisp apples peeled and sliced

    • 1/4c water

    • Sugar

Place apples and water into sauce pan on medium heat and cook until simmering and apples begin to break down. Transfer to a blender and blend. Strain mixture through a fine mesh strainer. The ratio of sugar needed will be 1 to 1 with your apple juice (1/2 cup apple juice calls for 1/2 cup sugar). Place juice and sugar in a sauce pan over medium heat whisking constantly until sugar is dissolved and mixture is simmering. You can prep this ahead of time and store in the fridge in a sealed container for up to 6 months!

  • 1oz apple cider

  • 1oz maple simple syrup

    • 3/4c of Holiday Brook Farm Dark Maple syrup (can substitute with Amber if you want less maple flavor)

    • 2/3c water

combine syrup and sugar in a sauce pan on medium heat. Whisk constantly until sugar is dissolved and mixture is simmering. You can prep this ahead of time and store in the fridge in a sealed container for up to 6 months!

  • 1 honeycrisp apple thinly sliced

Dip rim of glass in maple syrup and then coat with a mixture of 3tbsp raw sugar, 1/2tsp cinnamon, and a pinch of cardamom. Combine tequila, grand marnier, cider, and both simple syrups in a shaker with ice and shake for 30-60 seconds until combined. Pour over ice and honeycrisp slices.
