We can offer free delivery for packages of $50 or more to anyone within a 10 mile radius who would like to purchase our Grass-fed beef, lamb, pastured pork, eggs and Maple syrup.  With the increase of COVID 19 and the closing of schools and events, we're making this choice to help reduce the rise and hope that as a community we can nip it as soon as possible, so that life can return to normal that much sooner. We hope to re-start the breakfasts when that happens. We'll keep you posted!

Pancake breakfast buffet is back!

Saturdays and Sundays 8-1, through April 11th. Adults $13/kids 3-12 $8.

Each week we mix it up a bit for those customer who come every week.

We serve our own meats, fresh homemade pancakes, our delicious baked scrambled eggs, our Maple Cinnamon Applesauce and a mix of other side dishes which may be grits or our own Maple sausage bean casserole.

Come for a breakfast and walk around the farm and visit some cute farm animals. The young lambs are bouncing all over the place!

Holiday Brook Farm is a diverse farm located in central Berkshire county growing organic vegetables, grass-fed beef and lamb, pastured pigs, and laying hens. We make our own hay and compost. We are hiring crew members for the 2020 growing season to assist with our 5 acres of organic vegetable production from April/May through mid-October. We grow a diverse selection of vegetables for a small CSA, a farmers’ market and daily farm stand, as well as local restaurants.

Daily tasks would include seeding (both outside and in our greenhouse), weeding, watering, transplanting, pruning, trellising, mulching, harvesting, washing and prepping vegetables for market, maintaining our farm stand, and assisting at farmers markets. Occasional assistance with livestock will be required (egg collection, food/water, etc).

Applicants will be expected to:

  • Have a minimum of one season of farming experience, preferably with vegetables. 
  • Be in good physical shape and be able to lift 50lbs
  • Be able and willing to work in all weather conditions
  • Have a drivers’ license (experience driving a truck w/trailer a plus!)
  • Be able to take instruction and work productively by themselves or in a group
  • Handle equipment such as a walk-behind rototiller, weedwacker, lawn mower, etc

Along with a resume, please provide us with a brief essay of who you are and what motivates you to want to farm. The days are long, and the work is hard; we want to know why you are the right fit for this environment.

Saturdays and Sundays from 8 am to 1 pm during Maple Sugaring season.

Pancake Breakfasts being served in our new dining area at the farm (the old store space - store now behind dining area). 

Our buffet will serve Pancakes - French toast - Eggs - Maple Bean/bacon casserole - breakfast sausage from the farm - and other chef inspired dishes that will change weekly. 

We'll be doing demonstrations in our sugar house and you can taste freshly made maple syrup! You can also visit our barn and see all the baby lambs hopping around, goats, chickens, turkeys, horses, mini pig "Sadie" and others. Walk off your pancakes with a hike around the beautiful farm road and trails.

This year was SO WET that we weren't able to make the normal amount of dry hay. This means that we have already sold any available hay and do not have any extra to sell. If you're still in need of hay, we've heard that the farms in the Pioneer Valley have a good supply. We're crossing our fingers and hoping that we have enough to feed our own animals this year!

Yes, we're still gladly taking your loose leaves to add to our compost making mix. What has changed is that the site is moving - beginning on 10-20-18, you will drive past the usual compost driveway and continue on Route 9 for about another 1/2 mile and turn in at the Dalton Hardwood sign on your left. Follow the signs to the drop-off area. 

Thanks so much for all your leaves and cooperation!

Remember: please, NO bags and NO brush (you can bring your brush to Covanta in Pittsfield, on Hubbard Ave).
